Moon Eye is a photographic sculpture containing 5 transparency film inkjet prints embedded in between plates of acrylic. This minimal-style moon is abstracted to create a receding motion which also creates a holographic effect when backlit. This image was produced from a vernacular photographic negative purchased on the INTERNET, which is believed to portray a model planet instead of the real moon.

Additive Moon is a photographic sculpture containing 3 transparency film inkjet prints embedded in between layers of acrylic. Additive Moon utilizes color theory to create a synthetically colored experience of Earth’s’ only natural satellite. Space is depicted with Cyan, Magenta and Yellow and the moon is colored with RGB values. When viewed at an angle the color separation is pronounced and when viewed back-lit straight on the colors create neutral tones to emulate the original black and white negative. This image was produced from a vernacular photographic negative purchased on the INTERNET, which is believed to portray a model planet instead of the real moon.
